John McCain is portraying himself as an advocate for eliminating private funding from the general election when truth is that about one-half of his general election campaign will be financed by private sources by laundering it through the RNC ($19.1 mil + $17.9 mil), state GOPs ($35.2), using 2004 figures, which are likely to be underestimates.
